
BINGO has provided Post 43 with funds to do charitable work with the Unified School District 249 in Frontenac. Post 43 has supplied money for books and supplies for less fortunate students and has provided Christmas and Thanksgiving food baskets for those in need.

NGO is held every THURSDAY night at the Frontenac Senior Citizen Center located next to the new fire and police complex. The players usually number around 50 or so. When the BLACKOUT number is high, the crowd usually increases. The payouts are based on the attendance, but the PROGRESSIVE BLACKOUT games pays $300 if someone
bingos with less numbers called than the week's target number (which begins at 50 and increases by 1 each week until someone wins the $300. The consolation prize is the target number is not met is $100.

Legion members work the games by selling cards, paying winners, and cleaning up after the game. Post 43 has modern bingo equipment and
tv monitors to help the players keep up with the games.

Post 43 Ladies Auxiliary operates a snack bar to give players cokes, coffee, water, hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, cake, brownies, and candy bars. The proceeds go to fund the
auxiliary charitable projects.
